I asked the city council of my city if they were going to do anything for bike to work week. Somehow they interpreted it that I was organizing the event, and I got invited to several press conferences and television interviews, and made the front page of the local paper. It's been surprising how many people recognize me now in the local neighborhood as the "local celebrity".

Here's another idea for Bike to Work Week. You could organize the first Erie event for the [url=http://www.worldnakedbikeride.org]World Naked Bike Ride[/url]!

People would be VERY familiar with you after that.

I think we might have to by-pass this one in the Chicago-land area. With the exception of yesterday, we can't seem to get out of the sixties. Those lakefront winds can get also cold as well, and all I have to say about that is 'shrinky-dink'.

Yeah, Erie is about as cold, perhaps not as windy. with the weather here the way it has been, naked bike to works don't sound like much fun. Plus, most of the bike riders here I've seen aren't terribly photogenic.

It was another record turnout! 1700 happy nude or almost nude people riding through the Chicago night.

Ahhh, see... I get busy with life and forgot about the things that matter: seeing 1700 happy nude bicyclists peddling down the streets of Chicago. One day I'm going to learn how to prioritize my life...
