Whatever happened to abductions?

Seems like everybody and their brother was getting abducted about 10 years ago. So what happened? You never even hear about aliens anymore. Maybe the grays need a better P.R. department.

We were slated to do a Part 2 of our Abductions podcast, but our special guest (a supposed abductee) didn't show.
What does that tell you ... he was abducted? Or abductions are no longer popular (read: BS)?

I started listening to 'the paracast' and they make it sound like abductions are still pretty common.
