Hi guys!
im dallas bostick, from the very small town of Moody, AL. I have a great story for you.
im not sure when it all started but, in 2003 my family and i moved into a nice house in small neighborhood of Green Valley. since day one i loved our woods. nice, clean cut trails, a cool treehouse left by the previous owners and... a creature that mysteriously lurks these woods. im not sure what it is. the owner of the house before us warned us about this THING. but we just laughed at him. and went on our way. one late night in december 2003. i had some guys over for some paintball in the woods. it was great fun! while we were out, making chaos. i somehow found myself alone in the dark. i had my eyes peeled for my friends, i began hearing the sound of footsteps behind me. i fired a few rounds at the direction of the noise. there was a howl that came from the area. by now ive peed my pants and began running in the direction of where i thought my house was. being unfamiliar with these woods i panicked, i flipped on my flash light to see my way around. the footsteps now turned into a sprint. i could hear the brush around me moving and i could hear heavy breathing. just at this time like on que my flashlight slowly dimmed and went out...
now im really about to crap my pants. then all of the noise stopped. i was sitting on the ground with my back against a tree. i heard the rustle of leaves above me. i looked up and staring back down at me were these ruby red eyes. i froze unable to move. the eyes slowly creeped down the tree towards me. i closed my eyes and began to pray for i knew i was gonna get eaten alive. i finally musterd the courage to open my eyes. and there it was staring me dead in the face. the red eyes pierced through me. the stench of rotten meat on its breath. i just sat there. i opened my mouth to scream but no sound came from it. in the distance i could hear the call of my name from my friends, for they were looking for me. as they grew closer they creature sighed, or i think it was a sigh. noiselessly it crept back up the tree. and disapeared into the night.

My family and i still live in the house with or without the Green Valley Woodbooger.
I know it still lurks in the woods at night seeking the small rodents of the woods, or occasionally the small child lost in the woods.
This creature is a popular story in my town and in Birmingham. The previous owner tells tales of it on Halloween every year over the radio. But i never find myself in the woods alone at night.
We believe it might be a species of monkey or the legendary Chupacabra. ive never been able to capture it on camera but when i do. youll be the first ones to know.
We now, in the small town of Moody, AL, have a Home Town Tale of our own.
By the way im 15 years young.
