Do the dolls from the early 80's movie "Dolls" count as monsters? If so-they were my greatest fear growing up. My sister and I used to rent that all the time just to freak ourselves out. Freddy didn't scare me one bit as a kid but those dolls still haunt me! :D

Zombies are nice because you kind of have a 50/50 chance once there's an infestation. I mean, you're not necessarily doomed, but you're going to have to be at least a little bit resourceful to make it. Additionally, when you're bored and stuck in class or a waiting room or whatever, you can always play "What would I do if there was a zombie infestation right now."

Zombies...Dolls?
What about Clowns...they make the best monsters, you never know about them.
The Clown is supposed to be the good guy,but John Wayne Gacy pretty much screwed that up for everyone huh.

"The Stuff"

Not tthat it's such a good movie, but the tagline on the poster read, "Are you eatiing it? Or is it eating you?"

YES! I picked that one up on DVD awhile back, and pop it in anytime I need a good laugh. The Thing (John Carpenter) was also a good one. Any movie where you get 'assimilated' freaks me out; something about having your mind taken over by some sort of alien host.

Think it's not possible?

They are making a remake of the Blob soon, it will be a "humorous" version of the film, a la "Shaun of the Dead". From what I have heard it could be pretty good.

Zombies are the most horrific monsters because the idea of anyone in your family, including your children becoming a killing machine that wants to bite you to death is so appalling. It's just so nasty.
