Favorite Beers?

Lets hear everyones favorite beers.

I like the Michigan brewed Bell's Oberon. Of course if that's not available I will always settle with a Sam Adams or Guinness.

Agreed Samo, Winter's Cask Ale is much better than the Saranac Winter Brew or Sam's Seasonal

Old Heathen Imperial Stout has been my beer of choice for the past few weeks.

It is yummy and runs about 8% alc content if that matters.

Haha, as I am sitting here working on the forum right now, that is EXACTLY what I am drinking. I bought a whole bunch of crazy beers last night and that was one of them. It's pretty good. That vanilla bean flavor is a little different, but a good different.

I know for myself its a hard question, since I am prone based on the seasons. For instance in the summer where the average beer is lower in alcohol, I lean towards a Full Sail Session Lager (based out of Hood River, OR) or a light IPA (India Pale Ale for those not in the know) either local or national brands. Overall, I am a huge fan of winter ales & lagers, most notably the following ...

- Stone Double Bastard (Es Condido, CA)
- Avery Mephistopheles (Boulder, CO)
- Port Old Viscosity (Carlsbad, CA)
- Port Santa's Little Helper (Carlsbad, CA)
- Full Sail Wreck the Halls (Hood River, OR)
- Full Sail Black Gold "Bourbon" (Hood River, OR)
